Managing Partner

Reuben is founder and Chief Executive Officer of EA Markets. In addition to his management responsibilities, he leads the firm’s client service activities.

Prior to EA, Reuben served as Co-Head of U.S. Investment Banking with Barclays Capital, Managing Director with Deutsche Bank, Head of U.S. Corporate Swaps Marketing with J.P. Morgan, and he started his career as a senior consultant with Price Waterhouse.

Reuben earned a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Trustee of the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC and a member of YPO. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.

ROBERT IMERSHEIN
President

Robert is President of EA Markets. He leads the firm’s strategic initiatives, business development, and corporate management activities.

Robert co-founded Capstar Partners, LLC, a market leading financial services firm specializing in leveraged leasing and structured financing solutions, which was acquired by BNP Paribas. He has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years, beginning his investment banking career with Bankers Trust. He has been Chairman of Melior Discovery and Managing Director and Partner at Loeb Enterprises. Prior to joining EA, he was President-North America and a Board Member for Karhoo Inc., a technology company in the transportation industry.

Robert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a Trustee of the board of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School. He lives in New York City with his wife where they raised their three daughters.

HARPREET WADHAWAN
Senior Managing Director

Harpreet leads the Corporate Financing practice for EA Markets. In addition, he is responsible for our partnerships with private equity firms, specialist M&A firms and corporate clients in the middle market.

Harpreet began his investment banking career with Barclays Capital where he served as a Director in the Communications and Entertainment Group with a focus on the media sector. Prior to joining EA, Harpreet co-founded Faehm LLC and served as Head of Corporate Finance advising clients on capital structure, special situations and financing optimization.

Harpreet earned an MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, and he is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He lives in New Jersey with his wife.

SAM KAMATH
Managing Director

Sam leads the Energy and Infrastructure practice for EA Markets. In addition, he is responsible for the structured finance, ratings advisory and credit transaction execution services for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining EA, he was an Associate Director at ACWA Power International responsible for corporate finance and strategic initiatives. He began his finance career with Fitch Ratings in the Project Finance and Infrastructure group. Sam started his professional career as an Information Technology consultant working for blue chip companies including Deutsche Bank, HP and General Electric.

Sam earned an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Mysore University, India. He lives in Princeton Junction with his wife and two children.

TODD RAGLAND
Managing Director

Todd leads the Private Equity practice for EA Markets. He is responsible for developing and managing the firm’s relationships with Financial Sponsor clients, as well as transaction advisory and execution.

Prior to joining EA, Todd led the Financial Sponsors effort at BBVA. He began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers and has held senior roles in Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors at Barclays Capital and Mizuho Bank.

Todd earned a BBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.

JOHN CRYAN
Senior Advisor

John leads the Strategic Equity Advisory practice for EA Markets. He is responsible for supporting the firm’s clients in maximizing long-term shareholder value.

Prior to joining EA, John was Senior Partner and co-founder of Fortuna Advisors LLC, an independent shareholder advisory and management consulting firm. He is a leading authority on corporate strategy, capital deployment, working capital management, business portfolio transformations, restructurings, and cost of capital and valuation theory. He began his investment banking career with Credit Suisse in the Strategic Finance Group focused on shareholder value advisory. John developed his expertise in the finance and performance management group of Accenture.

John earned an MBA from American University and a Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.

CAROL GOLDSTEIN
Senior Advisor

Carol is a Senior Advisor to EA.

Prior to EA, Carol was Executive Vice President, Finance and Advisor to the Board of Odyssey Moon Ltd., a commercial space venture. As an investment banker, she served as Head of Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking at ABN AMRO and Global Head of Telecommunications at ING Barings. Carol began her career as a tax attorney with Davis Polk and Wardwell before joining Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Telecom Corporate Finance groups.

Carol earned a JD from the University of Miami Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University.

JOE HOBAN
Chief Financial Officer & COO

Joe leads the financial and business operations for EA Markets. He is responsible for the firm’s financial, administrative and regulatory matters, and he also serves as Financial & Operations Principal for the firm’s broker-dealer affiliate, EA Markets Securities LLC.

Prior to joining EA, Joe was President at Multilateral Funding International (MFI), a boutique investment bank focused on emerging markets. At MFI, Joe managed all activities of the investment banking, asset management and brokerage businesses. Joe began his career supporting investment and transaction execution activities for a private family office.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
